W Power Storage is an Independent Flexibility Provider that develops, builds and operates grid-connected battery storage systems in Germany. Headquartered in Heidelberg, the company works across the full value chain of battery energy storage projects, from site acquisition and permitting through engineering, construction, financing, operations and asset management. Its stated ambition is to have 1 GW of battery storage capacity in operation by 2031, supported by a multi-gigawatt curated project pipeline.

The company's plants are designed to deliver flexibility to the power grid and to support the integration of renewable generation, serving the energy, battery storage and balancing or power reserve markets. Technical work spans battery energy storage systems (BESS), grid-connected storage, energy flexibility services, renewable integration and long-term asset management.

W Power Storage employs 33 people from six nationalities and describes its mission as developing critical infrastructure for Germany's energy transition. It maintains strategic partnerships with ICG and the Wirth Gruppe.
