Goucher College is a private liberal arts college in Towson, Maryland, in the Baltimore area. Founded in 1885 by a group of Methodists led by Rev. John Franklin Goucher, it was originally a women's college and became coeducational in 1986. It enrols approximately 1,000 undergraduates and 500 graduate students on a 287-acre wooded campus.

The college offers more than 50 undergraduate academic programs in the liberal arts, together with master's degrees in education, teaching, historic preservation and arts administration, among other fields. Its distinguishing feature is a required study-abroad experience for all undergraduates, provided at no additional tuition cost, drawing on over 100 programs in more than 40 countries. The Princeton Review ranks its study-abroad offering first.

Teaching is organised on a small scale: a student-faculty ratio of 10-to-1 and an average class size of 16 students. Academic and professional staff work within fields spanning liberal arts education, teaching, historic preservation, arts administration and global education. Goucher is one of 40 institutions recognised in the Colleges That Change Lives list, and U.S. News & World Report has named it among top innovative colleges.

Ninety-six per cent of graduates are employed or enrolled in graduate school within one year of completing their studies.
